Victorian earns top honors The conversion of the VICTORIAN to a newsmagazine from a newspaper has been a suc- cessful one, as the VICTORIAN Newsmagazine was rated one of the top sixteen newsmagazine publica- tions in Texas, and was awarded a Certificate of Distinguished Merit by the University Interscholastic League Press Conference. Graphic work, and an ex- panded feature department completed the transition. The computer acquired by the Lournalism department allowed the editors to be more creative, wor faster, and with less probability of error. Dana Grones interviews Maria Carlsson for a feature story.
