,, P-it , QW. Q The big event Lunch time, whether it be first or second, was lways considered to be the big event of the day. It as like an extra class that was added on in the middle of the day. With open campus you could go hnywhere, if you knew an upper classman with a car. Otherwise you are destined to walk across the street to nearby Nannie's, Pizza Hut, The Win- ows, Sigmor, or the Ice Cream Factory. The reshmen resorted mostly to the school cafeteria for it was convenient, faster, and cheaper. When the Meather did not permit walking to a nearby lrestaurant, many freshmen flocked to the cafeteria in haste. The Reserves are active supporters of the Stingaretts. They are on hand at the basketball games and one of the two classes of Reserves perform at halftime. The Victoria Reserves consist of approximate- ly 100 girlsg though, some 150 girls tryout each year. Each of the two classes of Reserves have six officers consisting of one captain and five lieutenants. These girls work hard with Mrs Castille, the Victoria sponsor, to prepare them for Victoriadores.
