The next Iuice? Fifteen year old Stephanie Tisdale may not be the next Iuice Newton or Barbara Streisand but she is well on her way up in the music world. This year has been great for her in the area of choir. She sings Soprano II in the Treble Choir. This year she is the only freshman girl to make it all the way to Region. In competition she sings Alto because it is easier for her to hit the high notes. She comments, Competition is hard and tough but I like going places and meeting new people. She received a I rating on her solo but did not do too well on scoring in ensemble. She says, I have never gotten a hard judge for they all are pret- ty nice. This is Stephanie's second year since sixth grade to be involved in choir. She plans to stay in choir high school. Since she will be a senior the choir produces their play, she will be a like- candidate for one of the leading roles. She also plays the piano a little with three years' ex- Besides spending time practicing musical she is involved in National Iunior Honor and Medical Explorers. Most of their spirit boosters consist of ribbons, voodoo dolls, spirit towels, pom poms, rattling cans, minature megaphones and anything else they can get to help them win the spirit contest. These items are usually bought from the Cheerleaders, Victoriadores, Reserves, journalism students and sometimes they are homemade.
