Anchor Club girls discuss their key chain sales, a new project of the club. s Strength Anchored we hold is the motto of the Vic- toria High School Anchor Club. Sponsored by the Pilot Club, it is a national organization and the largest of its kind in Texas. It has 21 member- ship of ninety. Community projects include assisting the Vic- toria Chapter of the March of Dimes, assisting the TB association, participating in the project of giving Easter eggs to the children at Hopkins School, giving Christmas baskets to the needy, and presenting a S100 scholarship to a deserving member of the club. A new project- was the selling of key chains. School projects include sponsoring a Home- coming Dance, putting a float in the Homecom- ing Parade and presenting a stunt at a pep rally. Distributive Education Distributive Education offers a supervised training program for student employees in retail, wholesale, and service selling.
