Directors and leaders of the college compose the administrators. These staff members counsel the students and guide them in preparing a course of study that will be of most value to alumni after completion of work at Victoria College. They also take care of all business matters concerning the col- lege and sponsor student activities on campus.

J. D. Moore President Mr. J. D. Moore has been president of Victoria College since 1948. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at North Texas State College and began his teaching career in 1933. Mr. Moore has a long record of distinguished service to education in the state of Texas and has played an important role in the civic development of the Victoria area. Roland Bing Dean Dr. Roland Bing came to Victoria College in 1954. He took over the position of Dean in 1 964. His previous posts at VC were Director of Night School and Director of Counseling and Guidance. Before coming to Victoria, Dr. Bing served in the armed forces and was manager of student publications at Texas A M. He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree at the University of Texas.

The library offers an opportunity for the students to prepare their lessons in quiet surroundings. Books enrich anyone ' s knowl- edge. Carolyn Kovar is making use of the call-number books which are an efficient source of learning when writing a research paper or theme.
