Board of Trustees Earl Cliburn, secretary; Gerald Dubose; Dr. C. P. Montier, vice-chairman; Thomas M. O ' Connor; Morris Shattuck; Winston Zirjacks, Leo Welde Trustees are elected for six year terms. Chairman Winston Zirjacks, who graduated from Victoria Col- lege in 1 929, has served on the college board since 1947. He first became chairman of the board in 1 959. The trustees have been instrumental in the steady growth and increasing educational opportun- ities for citizens of Victoria County and the surrounding area. J. D. Moore President Mr. J. D. Moore has been president of Victoria College since 1948. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at North Texas State College and began his teaching career in 1933. Mr. Moore has a long record of distinguished service to education in the state of Texas and has played an important role in the civic development of the Victoria area. Roland Bing Dean Dr. Roland Bing came to Victoria College in 1954. He took over the position of Dean in 1 964. His previous posts at VC were Director of Night School and Director of Counseling and Guidance. Before coming to Victoria, Dr. Bing served in the armed forces and was manager of student publications at Texas A M. He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree at the University of Texas.
