Dr. Stormont ' s years of leadership have been years of growth. He has been a friend of student publications and one year spon- sored the Pirate. Dr. Stormont will remain as Director of the Evening School. Dr. Roland E. Bing, as new dean, is also a man who understands and encourages publications activi- ties. He, too, has sponsored the Pirate and previously served as Director of Student Publications at Texas A M. VC students will want to join the publications staff in commending the work of the retiring Dean, and pledging support to his successor.
