We will now imagine that the date has been set, the place of the reunion decided. Let us look in on the group. The time is May, 1976. the place, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Polson. Mrs. Polson is the former Cleo Varner. The party seems to be well under way but upon close observation there seems to be quite a few changes in the members of this former jolly group. The life of the party, as always, is Dale Judge who has just checked his pitch fork and shovel at the door. Dale now owns one of the world's largest turkey farms. He also specializes in the raising of fine guinea pigs. Standing next to Dale, trying to start an argument is Ronny Kittel. They seem to be discussing the price of turkeys. Ronny is now president of the Wrongway Tamale Factory where Dale sells his turkeys. We don't know what the disagreement is but you can bet it will result in a good old battle before the day is over. What's that horrible noise outside? As we look out the window we see a bright and shiny new race car coming up the road in a cloud of dust. Getting out is none other than ReVay dare -devil Jackson. If you've been reading the papers you've surely read about her winning the recent Indianapolis 500 . I Back in their beautiful ranch nome Mrs. Polson is busy preparing refreshments. Helping her is Marilyn Hill. Marilyn is not only married to a famous movie producer but has been in many of the leading movies of the year. It seems that during the Senior play in 1956, a talent scout from Hollywood became quite interested in Marilyn's acting ability and immediately gave her a life contract, She has recently been nominated for an acadamy award. Over in the corner of the room we see Pat Garnett and Jerry Hinman. As can be expected, they are discussing sports. During the past 10 years Pat has been coach- ing the famous Husky team in the wilds of Alaska. Although his team hasn't won any games yet, Pat says this season looks hopeful. Jerry has been training for his trip to the Olympics this year. It is expected that he will come home with many honors. Our host, Lynn Polson, is busy chewing the rag with his old pal, Bob Cole. Pro- fessor Cole recently won a very great award for being the first scientist to explore the moon. He has made a great name for himself as professor of Botony, Astromony, Biology, Anthology, Geology, Physics, Chemistry and General Science. Who's that blond over there humming Anchors Aweigh? Why it's May Bunker--- correction, Admiral Buker. It seems back in 1956 May joined the Waves and really made good. She has sailed around the world seven times and has been in every country in the world. She seems to be relating her adventures to someone I can't quite recognize. Oh, it's Frances Daniels. She certainly has changed but after talking with her we know why. Fran has been teaching school the past five years. She also holds down the job as part-time bricklayer. Across the room we see a little group gathered around the piano. They are trying to encourage Buff Varner to sing one of his latest hits. Buff has already made his first million singing on radio, T. V. and making records. He was recently married for the fifth time. Over by the refreshment table we find Donna Brunner. Donna is now married and is the mother of 15 children. In her spare time Qwith 15 kidsj she is a seamstress at the Lee overall factory. Just coming in the door is John Ward, the president of the Hangover Modeling Agency. With John is one of his most glamerous models, Marita Miller. John has just recently returned from a trip to the Ozarks where he picked up a few new models Marita tells us that when she isn't modeling she runs a fish market which brings in quite an income. Good heavens! An ambulance just drove into the yard. As the stretcher is brought into the house we see, on it, Paddy Dwyer. As everyone knows, Paddy is one of Mexico's most famous bull fighters. Or should we say was ? It seems she had a slight accident during her most recent performance. As the day draws to a close we hear the members of the class of 1956 remark of how enjoyable their reunion has been and how they are looking forward to their next reunion in another 20 years. So, we'll see them then. as- f , qT'f sax f S v ., A A' I f , K M fy ' its -W A-.f..q--fx I F P r P X 5 yt l K L L Donna Jean Babbitt Patty Buker Janice Kerr - ' 1. V , .f' f.
