Championship Section V title for the year 1953-54, Victor had but one returning regular from the previous year, David McKeag at Center. Although they lost four of last year's starting five, the Blue Devils won games with their superior ability, fighting spirit, and Coach Lynaugh's excellent guidance. Making up the starting five for the '54-55 season were: Co-captains, Dave Rector and Francis Underhill in the two forward spots, and Buddy Militello in one guard spot. The other guard position was a wide open race between Ken Winkler and Paul Mortenson. Coach Lynaugh had excellent bench power behind the starting line-up with Bob Anderson, Charles Herendeen, Bill Rugenstein, and Bernard Clark. .- T 1 ., ' 255 1. Q gl -v L

The spirits were very high as the boys came up from their pep talk yelling Come on-let's go.
