White, M. Leary, A, Boughton, J. Popenhusen, ROW THREE: B. Matthews, R. Mady, E. Morack, L. Leavitt, Mr. Sitts. The orchestra started off slowly this year because we had a great need for violinists. As soon as we received our new musicians, we began rehersals which became increasingly better through the year under the fine direction of Mr. Sitts. We were able to conclude the year of uphill work with our traditional music at Bac calaureate and Commencement. 55

White, The band, which is composed of about 60 members, had a very successful year under the direction of Mr. Richard Sitts, Members attended the music festival which was held here at Victor and the All-State contests at Waterloo and Rochester. Other activities for the year included a P.T.A. Program, the Halloween Pa- rade, and of course the excellent Christmas and Spring Concerts.
