OO Under the leader- ship of Mr. Rogers, a new project was origin- ated in V.C.S. in con- nection with the citi- zenship committee. The original duty of the committee was to keep the halls quiet and or- derly between periods. This committee and its advi- sor, Mr. Rogers, work untiringly at each bas- ketball and football game to obtain its goal of better sportsmanship among the student body and the spectators.

During the rest of the time they work either in the main library or the grade library in their free periods. Among their many Jobs are checking books in and out, and check- ing and stamping new literature. The girls manage to accomplish a lot and still enjoy their work. The Camera Club, under the leadership of Mr. Ransom, has become a very active club this year. The club meets every Monday afternoon. They have learned the techniques of trick photography, develop- ing, contact and por- trait printing. The Camera Club helped the yearbook with many of its pictures. Pres. ---- ---J. K ama, opened the '49-'50 season by giving a con- cert at the annual schoo1.fa1r. Sheila Concannon and Evelyn Golf represented our band in the A11-State Sectional Band in Canan- daigua. The band participated at the annual Middlesex Valley Festi- val and the New York State School Music Association Contests at Penn Yan and Syracuse.
