She is not gone -- her spirit still livesg Pointing so true, the way upward and on To goals and purposes set in the hearts Of many a child, when. he was young. Pupils of hers still hold fast to their dreams, As they face toward the heights they hope to reaohy And hers were the hands that led them on-- Hers, the heart to inspire --- then, to teach. She laid no claim to riches or fame, Yet left us a legacy that Death oan't defyg A memory that lingers in the hearts of friends, Of a love that lives --- that can never die. 0 Q MISS MARGARET BROWNLEE In every production there is always someone behind the scenes to insure a superior performance. Working behind the scenes for the Senior Class has been a very well-liked and wonderful person. Her unselfish efforts in working for the betterment of the class have gone for the past two years seemingly unnoticed. But nevertheless, we, the Glass of 1950, sincerely appreciate Miss Brownlee. She has worked harder than any member of our class to make our projects successful. These few words of gratitude are little indeed in comparison with the fond place that Miss Brownlee holds in the hearts of the Class of 1950. 5
