BOARD OF EDUCATION Under the guidance of our board of education, Vestal has responded quickly to the present educational challenge. The nine members of our board are outstanding citizens of the community who solve such problems as correlating enrollment and classroom space, making decisions on school layout and equipment, and selecting a faculty. One of its most important functions is to plan for the future by suggesting the purchase of possible school sites. The time spent and effort involved in coping with these problems is seldom fully appreciated. To these nine members who unselfishly donate their time and energy for the betterment of school and community, the class of 1960 commends for a job well done.
