F OREWORD What's a Nebbish? He is, as his Hebrew name implies, a lost soul. He is a nomad in society, unable to comprehend many of our problems- as well as his own-and always finds himself in embarrassing predicaments. You can't miss the Nebbishg he's everywhere. He may be looking for his lost wallet, putting his socks on inside out, knocking someone over, or spilling ink on himself. In school he becomes the best of procrastinators, the just a minute type of person. Although he has little personality of his own, he is a part of yoursg never to be outgrown, forgotten, or brushed off, Actually he personifies the emotions and ideas of today's high school stu- dent, is why we have chosen this distinctive, novel, and new- fangled character for our Den. 4 . OUR PAGE OF THANKS We of the Class of 1960 wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our teachers and administrators. We wish to offer our special thanks to Mrs. MacLowry, who has guided and encouraged each of us with individual concern in our decisions through junior high and high school. We also want to give special thanks to Mr. Shoback, for helping us make the Snak Shak a success, and to Mrs. Vanderbilt for directing our wonderful class play Curtain Going Up.
