Some of the outstanding events on the clubs calendar this year were the two big bottle drives in which they collected approximately 30, 000 bottles earned about 3500, the talent as- sembly put on for both Junior and Senior High which was one of the best received assemblies of the year, and the numerous bake sales held in the main hall during the noon hour. The club donated about S70 to CARE for packages to be sent to needy families overseas. The highlight of the year was the trip to New York City on May 13, 14, and 15. It is doubtful if any members will forget that three -day trip. The club held weekly meetings in the library with Mr. Worster as advisor. 100
