SENICDR CLASS H I STORY The Class of 65' consisting of Lleanna Block, Gloria Krueger, John Markley, Marlene Flaherty, and Sharon Cheney, arrived as five freshman, shaky and a little awed by it all. The locker iam and confusion of changing classes soon became routine. After two exciting weeks, we were initiated as freshman. We held our first class meeting and elected: Gloria - President, John - Vice-President, and Sharon - Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Stanford was our sponsor. As the year ended we said Hgood-byen to the parting Seniors. Our sophomore year seemed to be strangely devoid of activities. We elected for officers: Lleanna-President, Marlene-Vice-President, John-Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Gillaspie was our class .sponsor. The girls were very busy in forenics and plays. Our major feat of the year was the Halloween Party. As Juniors we began the year by staging the Junior play HHow Green Was Her Boy-Friendn. Selling Christmas cards helped krrease our treasury enough to present the prom. On May 2, we honored the Seniors with a banquet and prom entitled uDrifting and Dreaming.H It was a memorable evening for all. In the fall of 1964 we climbed the stairs for the final time as Seniors. We elected our class officers with John-President, Marlene- Vice-President, Gloria-Secretary, and Lleanna-Treasurer. Mr. Crosley was our sponsor. The second week of school, we initiated the freshmen to the high school routine. The year went very fast and on April 13 we presented our play, Ulf Mother Only Knewn. We were honored by the Juniors with a Banquet and Prom on April 30th. As graduation approached, we worked harder than ever. The big night finally came. As we walked down the aisle, we thought, UGood- Bye ......... we'll miss you.N We walked away from the old joys of high school to the new and exciting vista before us.
