Royalty Reigns Medieval times returned to Versailles the night of October 17 as the Student Council again hosted Homecoming. The battle between the foes was settled on the field of honor as the Tigers crushed Lehman 48-0. The athletic contest was preceded by the crowning of the royalty! The theme of Camelot was continued as the parade was led by the band and contained floats depicting castles. The court included freshmen representatives Julie francis and Steve Bey, sophomores Scott Voisard and Susan Streib, juniors Melina Mangen and Matt Barga, and seniors Angie Schmitmeyer and Doug Treon. Senior candidates included Jill Subler, Julie Grieshop, Connie Drees, Joyce Rethman, and Julie Ehlers. The boys were Bryan Albers, Dan DiSalvo, Dan Rethman, Jeff Kremer, and Steve Duncan. For once, both the king and queen were announced. King Steve Duncan and Queen Joyce Rethman happily reigned over their subjects. I. Golden memories are made of this for Bryan Albers and Jill Subler. 2. The Homecoming bonfire warmed up the Versailles fans the night before the game. 3.
