A Night On Beach In preparation for the Homecoming festivities, students began to work hard on their floats to exemplify the theme “A Night on the Beach.” The freshmen class showed their spirit by winning first prize with their beautifully decorated float. After the floats went thru the parade, class representatives were escorted on the field while the crowd waited for the crowning of the 1985 Homecoming queen, Connie Gehret. The night came to a climax when the football team went on to defeat the previously unbeaten Covington Buccs, 13-3. 1. Seniors show spirit on their truck. 2. Queen candidate, Joyce Rindler 3.
