President Darrell Routon .............Parliamentarian Gene Klein........................Secretary Ross Hofstetter..............Vice-president lAJe 1 Jhe Seniors WE THE SENIORS.......We, the Class of ’53, leave V.H.S. with many- pleasant memories behind us and high hopes for the future. These past four years at V.H.S. will remain in our memories forever. It seems rather sad, in a way, to think we won't be back next year to share in the good times. For some of us there will be college; but for the rest, these have been the last of our carefree school days. As we look back over the past four years, we think of the parties, basket- ball games, plays, homecomings, and all our other activities. All of them brought happy and disappointing times, exciting wins and sad losses. At times we may think our school years have consisted of a lot of hard work and study; but without this there could not have been any worth-while accomplishments made. As we prepare to leave V.H.S. in a few days, we leave behind the hope that the underclassmen will find their years here as interesting and enjoyable as ours have been.
