As we begin this new way of life new experiences and obstacles will confront us The foundatuons of our luves are laud durung our hugh school years and much of what we are to become un future years us determuned by how much we have profited by the knowledge our teachers have trued to umpart to us We have not been an udeal class by any stretch Of the umagunatuon we have had our ups and downs we have contrubuted good as well as bad We have produced some able leaders able athletes and able trouble makers From our ranks wull come those who shall ascend whatever heughts to whuch they aspure and there are those whose luves the annals of hustory wull by pass But great and small aluke the odds are great that whatever we become wull have been greatly unfluenced by how well we have learned what V H S has had to teach us It was all there for us How well dud we learn? Tume alone wull tell Durung our four years the teachers have done theur utmost to teach us along wuth the readun rutun and ruthmetuc other trauts and habuts we wull need as we go through lufe We have done our best to do our worst un acknowledgung apprecuatung and puttung unto practuce these thungs up untul now but when we stop and take stock of what we wull need to see us successfully through the comung years we begun to realuze theur worth And only after many years wull we apprecuate the true value of what we should have learned un hugh school and the guudance we had there But now we stand together un trubute to our teachers and we can but say thank you for all they have done for us May we always chernsh vuvud and happy recollectuons of V l-l S but let each memory be touched wuth an unklung of regret that the happy days are over The do or due for the home team the dances all the extra currucular actuvutues as well as the dauly work all make for scores of memo rues for each and every one Most umportant among these memorues wull be the fruendshups Some wull last on unto the future and others must be severed as the Graduatuon march clues out but each and every fruendshup made or broken has left or taken somethung un our luves Despute the duvergung paths our luves may take lets hope there wull always be room at least for the mernorues of our hugh school fruendshups remernberung there are good shups and bad shups but no shups luke fruendshup Before sayung farewell the senuors want to express theur deepest gratutude toward the school the students and partucularly the faculty for doung theur best to help us lay good foundatuons to start on the road to beung men and women who wull make the world a better place to Iuve un We as a class feel that we couldnt have been more fortunate un flndung a place to grow and learn and so wuth our best endeavor haul to maroon and whute Page 8 I Z - 1 .
