Saturday morning arrived too soon for most of us, but, as it was our last day, we weg: anxiouslto see as much as possible in so short a time In the morning on our way to Mount Vernon we stopped in Alex-- andria, Virginia, where we visited the Carlyle House, the Washington-H Masonic Society-Headquarters, Christ Church, which Washington and hi-' family attended, and also the Old Presbyterian Meeting House. From there we proceeded to Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. Here we spent a delightful hour inspecting the rooms and grounds of the mansion. After luncheon we had a few hours to ourselves before train time. ii SHADOWS J Monument, others walked around the capitol grounds, still others visited the Washington Airport The time for our departure came all too soon, and we sadly bade farewell to Washington. The trip home was most pleasant and we passed away the time by playing cards and games, and talking. On our arrival in Newark the group broke up, each going to his own home to relate his version of the wonderful trip to many eager listeners. E. B. '29. These were spent in various ways. if Page Tn' Senior Class Will E, THE CLASS OF '29, of the town of Verona, County of Tunerville, State of Ignorance, Western Hemisphere, being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make, publish, and declare the following as and for, our last Will and Testament, that is to say: First, we give, devise, and bequeath to our Alma lVlater the locks for our lockers provided we get our dollar. Second, we give, devise, and bequeath to our superintendent, Mr. Brown, a soft bed to enable him to have a comfortable position while on night duty at Hotel Driscoll. Third, we give, devise, and bequeath to Mr. Crane one nice wig to cover his fast-developing bald spot. Fourth, we give, devise, and bequeath to our class dean, Mrs. Prince, a gallon of Cod Liver Oil to----need we say? Fifth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Miss Markham some turpen- tine and goose grease for future use in case of poison ivy. Sixth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Hiss Hosp a straight-jacket to hold her when the fire horn blows. Seventh, we give, devise, and bequeath to Mr. Wilkin some sleeping 'powder so he, too,'can sleep with the fourth year French class. Eighth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Mrs. Burton a false face-to use when she has her picture taken. Ninth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Miss Cook a purse to reim- burse her for what she has spent on giving parties this year. Tenth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Mr. Goeltz a new battery to help him start his car in the rain. Eleventh, we give, devise, and bequeath to Miss Beck a contract to teach maypole dances to the patients at Overbrook. Twelfth, we give, devise, and bequeath to Mr. Renn money to com- plete his correspondence course in dancing. Thirteenth, we give, devise, and bequeath to the Class of '30 the re- mains of our Class treasury. Fourteenth we give, devise, and bequeath to the Class of '31 a sash- weight to hang on the end of their nose. Fifteenth we give, devise, and bequeath to the Class of ,32 a map to find out their place.
