Churilla, I.. England Girls Glee Club Remember this? Ye-, it is the Girls' Clee Club as they were the nifrht of the Christmas Cantata. And how can we forget the beautiful singing they did that night. We could all tell that such a performance took long hours of practice and such was possible through the patience of Mr. Bongiovanni, their director. B. Wilson. C. Cassano. Although this is probably the most important event of the year, the girls also sang at the Spring Concert, at PTA mettings, at Baccalaureate, and many other places where their sweet melodies were heard and enjoyed by all.

Maj orettes Although I don't look too good in a skirt, I was still one of the beautiful Twirlers of Verona High School. We really worked hard this year making up novel routines for each football game. We have been told that our member- ship improves the appearance of the band on the field. 'l'here are six majorettes and ten twirlers, and a mascot. Under the capable leadership of Mr. Bongiovanni we have been able to improve as individuals and, thus, improve the ability of our unit. Anna Harper was the head Majorette this year. Betty Donato is next in line of succession and will surely keep up the fine tradition of Verona Majorettes. First Row: L. Flajnik, A Harper B Donato.
