A WORD FROM MR. PILETTE It is a pleasure and a privilege to congratulate the Class of 1959. We have enjoyed your stay with us for the past six years and extend to each one of you our best wishes for continual success. We should be accustomed to saying good by and good luck to each graduating class, but in some ways it is usually a little sad. This feeling only serves to indicate that associating and working with you has been pleasant and gratifying, and we arc some- what reluctant to say goodby. We like to feel that our school has contributed much to your growth and stature so that you will be ready to meet the problems and challenges in your endeavors after graduation. We are certain that each one of you will be a credit to VVS. Beside a deep-felt sense of thanks and appre- ciation for your loyalty and support, we wish to ex- press our gratitude for the splendid co-operation received from the faculty and custodians in our school. Without the wholehearted and genuine in- terest of members of the staff in striving to meet the needs of the students, we would find it imposs- ible to arh:evc worthwhile objectives in our educa- tional program. Because of the rapid growth taking place in the American economy, more and better oppor- tunities for young people arc developing every day. We feel certain that your education and training will enable each one of you to find a proper place in the social and economic structure of the American way of life. JOHN B. PILETTE Principal Mrs. Ethel Warcup, Board Secretary, Warner SECRETARIES — Mrs. Dierks, Mrs. Silknetter, Mrs. Cassell. Mrs. Frison, Clerk; Brian Leach, Business Manager, Liddycoar, Mrs. Wettell.
