But much money. Learned of Mr. Dominy’s hidden talent for mak- ing bows. February 1955 ■ ■ . Moved into new school! Together at last! Mutual experience of being lost in space formed fast friendships: Melting pot produced flu bug that bit us all. Closed school for week. What joy for us fresh- men! June 1955 . . . Advisors and students take well-earned vacation. September 1955 . . . Resumed activities. Fired with de- termination to improve. Attended first class meeting with most honorable intentions. Great activity spurred by effort to use up material and eliminate project. May 1956 . . . Lou Barile Dance . . . Capacity crowd. Big success. This bonanza carried us as far as Albany on Washington trip. End-of-year burst of energy resulted in selling car plates (made of iron . . . they won't rust!); also poppit beads (rustproof). June 1956 . . Decorated auditorium for Baccalaureate and Commencement. Was it ever hot! Wilted with the peonies. September 1956 . . . Jaunty juniors! Elected Steve Wal- lace president by plurality.
