SoifwUttteMdeKt THE NEW YEAR The Year Ahead” of last year has become the completed year this June. The anticipations of working in a new building have become a reality. Teachers and pupils alike have adjusted to the new environment. The educational process has proceeded smoothly in our pleasant academic surroundings. The Class of 1956 enters adult life from a school building and curriculum designed to give each member every opportunity to equip himself with the necessary knowledge, according to his ability, to live successfully in an adult world. How competently the task of education has been fulfilled must await the test of time. The Community, the Board of Education and the professional staff extend to the Class of 1956 their sincere wishes for years of happiness. You are now ready to prove yourselves in our highly competitive society. William T. Thomson Superintendent Mr. William T. Thomson PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE We extend our most sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 1956. This particular class has been a very aggres- sive and dynamic one over the years. It has es- tablished a record of accomplishment and achievement in both the scholastic and extra- curricular fields that will stand as a challenge for future classes to meet. We feel certain that we shall see and hear more about the splendid progress and achievements of many individual members of this class in the years to come. This has been our first full year of operation in our new building and in spite of the fact that we seem to be busier than ever things seem to have been running smoothly. We fully realize that such a large organization could not func- tion properly without the wholehearted co-oper- ation of students, teachers, secretaries, custodi- ans, and bus drivers. For this we are most grate- ful and offer our sincere thanks. John B. Pilette Principal 9 John B. Pilette
