Organizations STUDENT GOVERNMENT is the governing body of student activities and is composed of elected officers and representatives from all areas of student interest. NEW DAY isa vocal and instrumental ensemble performing pop and variety music on campus and in the community as musical ambassadors. PHI THETA KAPPA is a national junior college honor fraternity emphasizing leadership and servicé. Members have maintained a grade point average of 3.25 during a 12-hour semester and have displayed outstanding scholarship in their field of study. THEATRE ENSEMBLE 1s a drama club made up of speech and drama students participating in campus theater productions and classes for the entertainment of the student body and community. FORENSICS CLUB is a team of speech students involved in debate and various interpretive and extemporaneous speaking events. Their activities include participation in intercollegiate competition. RODEO CLUB 1s a group of students involved in America’s fastest growing sport. Members participate in rodeo competition while gaining behind-the-scenes experience in livestock care and breeding. CIRCLE K is a university division of the Kiwanis International. It functions as a community and campus service organization to improve ecology and human welfare as well as provide entertainment and educational programs. OFFICE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION is a secretarial organization furthering the development of office skills and management through intercollegiate competition as well as practical experience in actual office situations.
