The band also gave a Winter Concert which the student body enjoyed very much. Starting the Second Semester the band was under the direction of Mr. Montgomery. During this semester the band participated in: the District Band Festival and came out with a Second award; led the parade at the Maple Syrup Festival; and gave an excellent Spring Con- cert. As its final activity the band led the parade Memorial Day. Congratulations to the band, as they have done a wonderful job this year. We really enjoyed the music. The band would like to thank Mr. Humphreys for the eleven years he has given to the Vermontville Band. Without his help and patience our band would not have succeeded.
