CLASS HISTURY We started our freshman year w1th forty four students and Robert Gel1na as our class advlsor The off1cers were as follows presldent Joanne Jopple v1ce pres1dent Jane Newman treasurer Bruce Benedlct secretary Sally Leslle We went through the usual 1n1t1at1on put on by the sophomores We had to wear costumes all day and 1n the evenlng At nlght the sophomores entertalned us w1th a party Stan Foltz came from Sunfleld that year The students that left were Harry Smlth J1m Wells Betty Klng Katle Albro and Gor on Donaldson To ralse money we sold ash trays and refreshments at the baseball games We also had a class party We started our sophomore year w1th 39 students and our class advlsor was Robert Gel1na We 1n1t1ated the freshmen on the 19th of September Our Offlcers were presldent Bruce Benedlct v1ce presldent Joanne Jopple secretary Patty Foote treasurer Dor1s Wlllbur Arch1e Hosey was new from Sunf1eld that year We lost Marvln Klng Rlchard Huss Tom W1llbur Beverly Olson Raymond D1ck1nson Shlrley Fast Alfred Cush1ng Larry Wohlsche1d Theo Harmon along wlth Wllma Hosey who went to Cedar Lake Academy To ra1se money we sold refreshments at basketball games We started our Junlor year w1th 31 students and Robert Gel1na was our class advlsor Sally Leslle agaln Jolned us from Lanslng M1Ch1gan 0ff1cers were as follows presldent Bruce Benedlct v1ce presldent DOFIS W1llbur secretary Jane Newman treasurer Shlrley Mlller We ordered our class rlngs Sept 13th and started our magazlne sale on the 13th also We had a supper for the wlnners of the magazlne 25th Our JUHIOT Play A Case of Sprlngtlme was March 28th May 16th was our Junlor and Senlor Banquet whlch had a garden theme May 18th we escorted the Senlors to the Baccalaureate and on May 22nd to graduatlon The classmates who left us that year were MarJor1e Coulson Eva Gorodenskl Ray Thompson Patty Foote and Sally Leslle In our senlor year we came back w1th 26 strong havlng lost Joyce Frank and Kathleen Shumaker Offlcers are as follows presldent Bruce Benedlct v1ce presldent Bryce MacDonald secretary Dor1s Wlllbur treasurer Ferona M1x and Mlldred Farth1ng as our class advlsor Sept Sept Nov Nov Dec Jan May May C1ty 16th 26th 18th 21Sf 19th 27th 25th 28th The senlor plctures were taken We started our Chrlstmas card sale We had our scrap dr1ve Was our Senlor Play Strlctly Formal We sponsored a Chrlstmas Dance The Holly Hop We started our magazlne sale Baccalaureate Graduatlon We are plannlng a paper and scrap drlve and bake sales Our Senlor tr1p w1ll take us to Washlngton D C and New York on the f1ve day B and 0 Speclal egg, ON 1 lllv OYA 02 2 ' , ' , ' , I ' . fi on Oct. 16th, a square dance the 19th, and the class rings came the .4 .-A--Lfmi.. .'f,,.-74271-.1
