This year, the choir which has grown in size and quality performed in the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter assembly programs . The choir complemented the band in both the Winter and Spring Concerts and also took part in the Lakeland Conference Choir Festival held in Amherst . 24

QUIZ BEE, advised by Mr. Harold Welker, helps create an interest in govern- ment and trains the squad members for quick response. This year the team par- ticipated in a dozen scrimmages and com- peted in the WLEC radio Quiz Bee Tourna- ment. Other activities included the Vermilion Invitational Quiz Bee, Lakeland Conference,Quiz Bee, and the TIME test, Quill and Scroll, NEWSWEEK test, and the Palmer -Davis award. The group completed an active year with a trip to the World Institute at Cincinnati and the Mock United Nations meeting at Capital University.
