THE SOPHOMORE CLASS In September, sixty-six of us returned for our second year in V.H.S. The class officers were elected. The officers were: President, Clarence Birchmore; Vice President, Ronald Vincent; Secretary, Carolyn Danyow; Treasurer, Patricia Quinn. Student Council representatives were; Susan Benton and David Adams. Our class advisor is Mrs. Graves. Tragedy struck our class on September 15, 1957, when our beloved classmate Gary Smith was killed in a truck accident. Words cannot begin to express our loss. The class has voted a living memorial to the memory of Gary. The Sophomore Class is hoping to keep the spirit of the school high. Clarence Birchmore President

THE JUNIOR CLASS In the fall of 1957, the Junior Class entered V. H. S. for a third year of study. Mr. South-wick was there to guide us along the right path. At once we set to work electing our class officers. The outcome of this election was: President, Marguerite Abair; Vice President, Rosanna Bodette; Secretary Daniel Ryan; Treasurer, William White. Our Student Council representatives were Leo Wimett and Constance Tucker. Several members of our class have added a great deal to school activities. With the help of our faculty advisor, Mr. Southwick, we put on a class play and planned our Junior Prom. As this year passes we shall set our goal high and prepare to shoulder our responsibilities as future Seniors of V. H. S. Marguerite Abair President

THE FRESHMAN CLASS As the summer turned to fall, we met again our old and new friends. Only now we were freshmen.
