At the sound of the school bell last fall, seventy-one of us arrived to make up the Sophomore Class at V.H.S., with Miss Barbara Kaiser, our faculty advisor. At the annual class elections we voted the following officers: President, Wayne Smith; Vice President, James Cantell; Secretary, Leo Wimett; Treasurer, Margaret Abair; Student Council Representatives, Rosanna Bodette and Richard Cunningham. Juniors now, who have worked so hard this year with our faculty advisor, Mr. Rayjjj Davison, to make ourselves a part of a worthy Living Memorial at V.H.S. Our officers for the year were: President, Peter Hallock; Vice President, Marlene Booth; Secretary, Joseph Ashley; Treasurer, Janice Wightman; and Student Council Representatives, Russell Easter and Louise Husk. Roger Gevry honored our class by placing first in the 1956-57 Vermont State Track Meet. Then, too, Rod- J ney Clark and Peter Hallock attended the National F.F.A. Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, last October. In fact, we have furnished competent participants in every branch of school activities. Our six e cheerleaders gave hearty support to our winning basketball team. There was great fun at the Christmas Party given by Grade Eight to Grade Seven.
