A smashing 32-O victory over Oxnard l-ligh School gave the Preps the i937 county football championship. An old jinx that Oxnard seemed to have over Ventura was elimi- nated by the two decisive trouncings administered to the Yellowjackets. Aided by efficient blocking by his team mates, Bill Donnelly made the most sensational run of the season when he circled his own right end, reversed his field, cut back down the sidelines, and then neatly evaded the remaining Oxnard man to score. This run, which thrilled a crowded stadium, was good for 55 yards. 'ID-KN XX Top Kam-Coach Shannon, Peters. Hager. Graf!!! Juffcrmt.
