During the iast part ot the tirst semester, how- ever, the members presented a radio version ot a western meiodrama tor the entertainment ot the student body. , Unanimousiy prociaimed to be one ot the most enioyabie ot the numerous schooi dances, the No Date Dance was sponsored by the ciass on March twenty-titth. Santa Barbara's tamed Ei Paseo served as a iiitiiii iiiiitii Opheiia Wray and Vernon Weeks were seiected by the Hi-Y committee as the outstanding students ot the tourteenth grade. Miss Wray and Weeks were exceptionaiiy outstanding in academic and extra-curricuiar activities, They have contributed much toward the soiution ot schooi probiems. iiiiiiiiiiii beautitui and romantic setting tor the Senior ciass' annuai dinner-dance. The Fourteens kept aiive an oid custom ot having a ciass breakfast the morning ot graduation day when they break- tasted in the banquet haii ot Pierpont inn. Ptii ot this ciass' varied activities were brought to an end on June ninth when they donned caps and gowns to receive their dipiomas The graduation exercises were heid on the Ventura Junior Coiiege iawn. Otticers who guided the activities ot the Fourteens were: Jack Tobias, president, Betty DeSerpa, vice-president, Opheiia Wray, secretary, Charies Paim, treasurer, Facuity advisers were Hazei Lamb and Wiiiiam Viehman.
