LISIC LILTLIRE LUB Advisor . . . WALTER W. TINK President . . . CARL SMITH X Who can forget the remarkable performances of Patrick Shelby, Raymond Comstock, Tuscon Boys' Choir or the Chicago Little Symphony! Without Music Culture Club these events and many others would not have been enjoyed by the Vennard students. The club co-operates with the Oskaloosa Community Concert Association every year, which sponsors four concerts of outstanding professional artists. In addition, meetings are held frequently during the year by the club. These meet- ings are informal, such as the evening Raymond Comstock discussed and played the violin. This year the club presented Mr. Comstock .and Mr. Shelby in a joint recital, which we remember so well. Music Culture Club acquaints the students with the great music of the Mastersg it promotes music worthy of the attention of a Bible College studentg it encourages participation in concerts and other music activities.

Since its first meeting five years ago. CEC has considered Calthough probably not I I Refreshments CEC Members solvedj numerous world and national problems. But this year, unprecedented U. N. sessions, nations coming into existence, and, of course, our own national election, have afforded topics which will undoubtedly ex- tend their influence through many years to come. Perhaps some would say our views are unseasoned and our conclusions naive. Not- withstanding that, we CECers are making a diligent effort to become informed citizens and leaders. Qt, 's
