YGLING PEOPLE' CLINES LE GUE The Young Peoples' Holiness League is a student organization designed to encourage spirituality among the student body in areas not reached by other groups in the school. It conducts a fall and winter retreat to help fulfill this objective. The main activity of the Young Peoples' Holiness League is organizing plans for the annual Youth Conference which is held over a weekend in the spring. Young people from many states convene on our campus for rich, spiritual challenge and fellowship dur- ing these days. Our theme this year was Establish Your Hearts-The Lord Draweth Nighf' The Reverend Mendell Taylor of the Nazarene Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, was our speaker. President , . In its beginning this organization was known as The Women's Housing Association. Desiring a name that was more suitable for the concepts it had of drawing one another into a closer fellowship with Christ, striving with His help to govern, develop, and pro- mote all phases of dormitory life and to enrich student living, the name was changed to Theta Phi, meaning Daughters of Light.
