AEIJS 1 0 O O 6' 0 Q f Oth 0 as o,Ve,-5 The Second week of October was special on the Ven- nard Campus when alumni and guests joined to celebrate the anniversary of the school and pay tribute to Dr. Ivan Durham Vennard, who caught the vision and began the work fifty years ago. Special classroom sessions were held for the campus visitorsg hearts were refreshed at the morning chapel hour each day, and the afternoons proved stimulating with workshops pro- vided to meet the varied interests of our guests. An inspira- tional hour was held each evening, with the Reverend Dale Ward, alumnus of Vennard, bringing a challenging message, and alumni of the school participating in music and testimony. The activities came to a climax with a banquet on the final evening, followed by the pageant, ALABASTER AND SPIKENARD, which presented the life story of Dr. Ven- nard.
