Swim Teams Had an Excellent Season The 1 980 Swim teams had an excel- lent season under the direction ot coaches Jim LaMorte and Pat Panton. The boys posted 1 2 wins, 3 losses; the girls went 7-8 for the season. Tom Marazon placed tenth at the state Meet. Team captains were Kelly Cecil and Terry Walters. Awards received were: Swimmer of the Year, Terry Wal- ters and Kelly Cecil; High Point, Todd Briggs; and Most Improved, Geoff Gentile. Getting ready for a meet. Softball Has Up and Down Season. The girls ' softball team had an up and down year. They finished the year up with 10-8 record. The Indi- ans were challenged by a tough schedule which included many class 4-A schools. Despite this, under the coaching of Don Willis of the junior high, the girls did well. At the end of the season senior Kelly lamaio was named Most Valuable Player; junior Sharon Gulotte, Best Offensive; and sophomore Sherri Powell, Best Defen sive.
