Rowdiness starts with the officers! Rowdy Pep The Rowdies are a Jr. Booster Club, well named because of the spirit they generate at the basketball and football games. They have bake sales at the football games and run the conces- sion stand during home basketball games. The money they earn at these athletic events, goes toward their transportation to away games to cheer the Venice teams on to victory. Stage Band Stage Band The stage band at Venice High is another of our fine performing groups under the direction of D. Burmon. This band is recognized by many as an outstanding performing group, and it is a constant source of pride for our high school. Orchestra The Venice High School Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Hartley Haines, has had an active year of learning and performing, they have given concerts for area schools as well as the general community.
