SENIOR CLASS PROPH ECY It is August 23, 1965. Carol Marshall and I, Carol Mangi, are sitting in the lobby of the Hotel Chase waiting for our old classmates to arrive. The occasion is our first reunion since High School. The former Margaret Hendricks has just arrived in a Cadillac,and has been telling us that she is now married to Ed Wiesehan and is the mother of two darling girls. We have just received a telegram from Lawrence Heagy and Cathy Koelker, who are now in Reno opening up a new club, Cthe 6Oth,D and can't make this reunion. Terry Greenlee just walked in and is telling us that he has just signed a contract for five years at the Venice Social Club. Ile will be accompanied by Jane Groshong on trumpet, and also as his assistant Vocalist. Don Cook, a famous man about town, has just told us that he is the new principal of old Venice High School. He tells us thathehas things really rolling. After graduation Don Davinroy changed his ways and is now study- ing at the Frontinac Seminary in St. Louis to become a priest. His first mission will be in Africa. Janet Jenne and Jessie Lou Mitchell work together at Swift Pack- ing Companyg they are the chief sausage makers. They are also room- mates. Tonight each former classmate will receive one pound of SwifUs sausage. Well, here comes good old Frank Cowley. He has just told us Hum he is the chief cake decorator at a bakery shop in St. Louis. John Boushard is a traveling salesman for the Campbell Soup Com- pany. What a surprise this is!! Don Beyer is his partner in thegbb. They tell us that they are doing fine. Carolyn Mercer just came in and is telling us about the HBWIMWB- up on the market. She is now head make-up counselor at Stix,IBBr,amd Fuller. David Parker is now the president of the Parker Pen Company, due to the death of his uncle. He has just invented a new pen that achzd- ly writes without ink! Each of us will receive one tonight. Glen Sadler is a minister at the 2nd Baptist Church in Venice.He has eight sons, and hopes that at least one of them becomes a minismm of his church. A FRIEND A FRIEND
