We , the VENETIAN staff of '56 , are very proud of what we have pro- duced for you , the members of the student body. We hope you will enjoy the book as much as we have enjoyed preparing it. We would like to thank the VENETIAN'S Managers , Earl Warnhoff, Lillian Padgett, and Ron Blatz , for doing an efficient job of managing 7 the Copy Writers , Ada Carver, Maryella Price, and Rosalie Beyer, for typing and other general work, and our Photographers , Marie Musick and George Schaffner, for taking the snaps used on our snap pages. We also would like to thank our Artist, Tom Marcus, for his tedious work on drawings, and our ever-helping Assistant Editor, Margaret Fears , who did just about everything and who was a wonderful help . Mrs. Williams , our VENETIAN sponsor, deserves a great deal of thanks . She was our anchor in the storm, and really found those mistakes we made! We would like to thank the photographers from the Hollywood-Andrews Studio for coming down to take pictures at our convenience , and the Press- Record for some of the basketball action shots contained in the VENETIAN. The Seniors of the staff will really miss our Wednesday night meetings next year, but we know that the lowerclassmen are looking forward to next year and hoping there will be a place for them on the '57 staff. Last, but not least, we want to say a special thank you to all the grade school teachers who helped so much with the picture -money collec- tions .
