The members of Ladies act as the ollicial hostesses ol' Venice High. Tlieir duties include serving at all school functions. such as the Sports Award banquet and co-ordinating council luncheons. Tlieir social activities this year have taken them horseback riding. Christmas carolling, on snow trips and on slumber parties. PREMIERE--SANDY KELLER The Chatelaines of Venice High School are organized to be of direct assistance in the promotion of unity among the students and in the promotion of high standards of service to the school, both as a group and as individuals. Their duties consist of ground duties and serving at banquets. faculty organization meetings, and work shops. They have outside social affairs which include parties for members of the Chatelaines only. and in conjunction with the other service groups. ln order to become a member, a girl must be voted in by the older members and approved by the faculty. The membership consists of 25 girls in the l0th and l lth grades, and there are always at least live girls from each of these grades.
