GORDON STANGLAND First Semester Student Body President PRESIDENTS MESSAGE I sincerely believe june 22 will be one of the momentous days of my life. From that day on, I will enter a new phase of life-new activities, new friends, new inf terests. It means the termination of what will undoubtedly prove to be the fullest and happiest days I have ever experienced. I fnd it hard to express my appreciation for the honor you bestowed upon me when you elected me president. I feel that my position was made easy by the complete and whole hearted co-operation of all the students and faculty. Regard' less of what I may. or may not, accom' plish in the years to come, I assure you I will treasure the memories of my presif dential term as something tremendously close to my heart. I thank you for the enjoyment you have given me as my friends. During the previous semester I was very fortunate in being able to serve you as president. I want to thank you for that privilege and for the ine support you gave at the dances, football, and basketball games, and other school activities.
