Junior Class BACK ROW: L«(t to Right: Donald Collar, Kermlt Sallsburg, Ray Dean Stemcn, Jack Myers, Colleen Vance. MTDDLX ROW: Bill Myers, Theron Jackeon. John Smith, Donald Krouae, Marvin Griffith. FRONT ROW: Dolorea Gorman, Marilyn Jonea, Carolyn Myera, Mary Lu Edwards. The Junior Class led a busy year. On November 4, a cast composed of the entire class presented a hilarious farce, “The Perfect Idiot.“ The only other money project during the year was the selling of programs at the home basketball games. A Christmas party was held at the home of Miss Kfyers. Everyone enjoyed the recreation and gift exchange. The Juniors sponsored a high school party in March with St. Patrick’s as the theme. The latter part of the evening was spent dancing. The Junior high light of the year was that annual event, the PROM. On that memorable night the Juniors and their guests went back to the period of the Gay Ninties. For the evening, the auditorium donned the aspect of a most respectable tavern. The dinner guests were served a very gratifying meal by the Junior Mothers and received enthusiastically the entertainment featuring a Barber Shop Quartette, and other numbers appropriate to the era. In extra-curricular activities the Juniors held their own. The music department claims nine for the band, almost one hundred percent for the glee clubs and two for special music events. Two represented the class in Varsity basketball and three, the Reserves. The paper staff made use of the services of eleven Juniors. 14
