r fr- QO Ken Wilson - - Marjorie Baker BobDy Taloot - JUNIOR PLAY ■LADY STAKE UP- In accordance to the Annual tradition the Junior class presented their play, a delightful comedy called “Lady .take Up- on November 15, 19 6. The play was a comedy of a young lady. Fay Duncan, who engaged the services of a fake Hindu fortune teller and hypnotist, Ranee Rah, to entertain her girl friends, tlarjorle, Gladys, and Carol. Fay ha9 herself hypnotized Just for fun and th n could not be Drought out of her trance oecau-e th police came to Arrest Ranee Rah. In the prin- cess's escaDe she forgot to dehyonotlze- Fay. To add to the confusion and excitement Fay had hidden contracts belonging to her husband's boss and no one could find them. Hie con- tracts had to o found oefore nine o'clock the following morning or the business deal would be lost and Danny would lose his Job. Fay's young brother, Bobby, did not helD matters out only com- plicated them with practical Jokes. Nor was Fay's mother a help be- cause she blamed the uoroar on her son-in-law. Members of the faculty and their spouses also attended. Mothers of members of the Junior Class prepared the delicious banquet, snd ten beautiful girls from the Sophomore Class served as waitresses. Following the motif of a fairyland garden throughout, ♦he hosts transformed the gymnasium into a picture of nature's handiwork. The menu followed the same theme. Upon completion of the repast and the program, guests and hosts Joined In the garden for dancing.
