 CLASS HISTORY nineteen thirty-four was a striking year for the Seniors of '46. class of .sixteen was snail but nighty. At that tine we all (that is most us) signed our lives away for twelve full successful years. Now we reached our goal. ini Fun, wasn't it? But time flew by and finally we found ourselves running here looking for the right claseroosu Tee, now we were in Junior High. The grades were all full of Joy and plenty of mischief. Especially when the boys were given a ball bat and they went outside and broke it because it wasn't big enough, and also when Doris and flava spent 6 full weeks staying there In nineteen forty-two we found ourselves in High School. Our class con- sisted of sixteen members, and we were still quite active. Miss Bair was our advisor and Gordon Best, chief executive. Because of the severe war that we were involved in, our years in High School were not what they could have been, but we studied, and entered in clubeiand many other activities. Our Jr. Class Play was one of enjoyed by all those in attendance. the best to be seen in 7'ville and was Our class was highly active in sports of all kinds and this found them representing good old V'ville High in basketball. year We are still Seniors, but foon we will be classed with the Alumni. Our years were full and happy and I m sure much was learned. This was because of the guidance of our faculty, fle, the Seniors, feel that we owe much to all our teachers who have helped us to prepare for the biggest school of all— The School of Life . CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of 1946 about to terminate our quadrennial sojourn within the beloved rooms of Vaughnsville High School, desiring to express our last wished, do say, state, and ordain that all previous wills and codicils and hereby declared null, and fruitless and of no further effect and validity. We dlreot that our funeral expenses be paid as soon as possible after our departure. To the faculty, we leave (1) the memory of our bright and shining faces which were always ready for the task set before us, (2) all the information they may have gained from our test papers, and (3) the wish for as much con- tinued success with future classes. To the Junior Class, we leave all our dimity and good looks, kn knowing they will use them to a good advantage. To the Sophomore Class, we leave our manner of securing good grades with- out hard labor. To the Freshnan Class, we entrust our innermost secrets of how we grew to our present sophlstlcnted state.
