n o Xff w WA 'iUil'fff1'J iles Hzgb School cjlflmer E HELD our annual high school mixer at Rosedale Hall on November 4 1930 One of the largest crowds on record was in attendance We spent the earlier part of the evening in presenting and witnessing the pro grams put on by the several classes Great was the applause and loud the howls ol merriment with real clowns and many funny antics The Freshman boys were transformed into mothers for 1 few minutes and demonstrated their skill in holding and caring for their doll babies in a very superior way A genuine man kindly condescended to display his prowess before our startled eyes as well Several Sophomore girls played a miniature football game on the stage most of the action being vocal All the members of the team and of course the co1ch Nlr Stanley were represented there Three feminine members of the umor Class came before the audience dressed in very clever and natural loolcing costumes and proceeded to imitate members of the other classes This you may be sure was a very comical performance Nly Darling Clemintine in pantomime style was also presented As a climax to these preliminary skirmishes, the invincible Senior Class put on a great pantomine Wild Nell or The Pet of the Plains the acting of which was truly worthy of a stage companys best efforts In addition to this we displayed our boys as babies in a great competitory show We spent the remainder of the evening in playmg games dancing and par talcing of refreshments After a reasonable time we betoolc our way homeward everyone of us in high spirits Senlor Cawzzval '7Jm1ce We Seniors held our carnival dance at Rosedale on Saturday October 75 1930 The hall was decorated in the Halloween motif in orange and black and jack c lanterns were placed conspiciously about Berlcheimers Black Cats furnished the music and everyone made merry with the fancy paper hats noise makers and serpentine that we had on hand Our dance was a big success, both from the standpoint of enjoyment and of finance bemor czlbcmese 'Dance We gave our second Senior dance at Rosedale Hall on Saturday evening March 28 For variety we planned this dance in the style of a Japanese ball, and decorated the hall with Japanese lanterns, wall mats, and bright flowers The color scheme was in purple and gold Dimiclcls four piece orchestra of Olympia played for us, and although the crowd was not over large our dance was successful because it afforded everyone present an exceptionally good time Form o e ,. , .. v ' , 'W -tc ff V if A nf L .1 - A A I ll , 5. 17, 1 1' fig.:-1:i:j Y-4 'T' jf '7, XT, ,YY 2 'lt fx,,Q -5 2, 1 -A 'Y .fs 57- Yfiif A1 ff 'XY firarr YYY YY ,- A Y' Y ' ia.- ' f HA' --1 .
