S I l l l Notice to Students This Nineteen-Ten Vassarion Library is a gift to the Students of Vassar College from the class of Nine- teen-Ten in commemoration of the four years spent here. Work was begun in the fall of 1909, and the completed building is now formally presented in May, 1910. The exterior of this library is of brown cloth, the interior of solid White paper with elaborate trimmings of red and black printer's inlqr The stained glass Windows are the gifts of the four classes and are characteristic of the donors. The tapestries and statues in the different Wings have also been presented by the various organiza- tions of the college. The general plan is similar to the Thompson Memorial Library. It is hoped for this reason that the students will have no difficulty in finding their Way to the different alcoves which contain numerous records on all subjects of college interest.
