They enjoy singing operatic, classical, and popular music selections. The Choral Club is a much smaller group than the choir, and it fills engagements when a small group is needed. A select and enthusiastic group of boys who have a common interestfflove of good music. Their interest, in study and performance of such music, inspires them above and beyond striving merely for the academic credits which they re- ceive. The Vashon High School Dance Band has been performing for tive years. During this time, it has played tor many engagements. These include all of the Vashon Coronation dances to date, en- gagements at the Y. VV. and Y. M., Clayton High School, City Auditorium in Clayton, Roosevelt Hotel in St. Louis, and several engagements at Sumner High School, This organization strives to teach all its members an appreciation tor the better type of popu- lar music.
