lnto every successful activity of this school year at S. C. B. C. have gone hours of preparation, prayer and perspiration to make them the. success they were. ln order that these hours of labor may not have been in vain and that we might keep for ever the memories of these happy moments, they have been recorded in picture. For the opportunity of serving S. C. B. C. as editor of this annual, my deepest thanks goes first to you the students. Also l am greatly indebted taall those who have helped in making this publication a reality. To Ruth Mattia for her very able assistance in organization, write-ups, and securing of facts. To Roberts Studio for portraits and group shots.. To Don Evans for the many hours spent in not only taking picture but following their processing through to the finished picture. To Mr. and Mrs. Evans for their open home for several weekends. To the S. K. Smith Company for the cover. To David Jenkins for his faithfulness as business man- ager, to Shirley Book for typing of copy and letters, to Ralph Cornell for the making of the dummy pages, to Pete Knowles for first-hand information and his words of encouragement when needed most, to Barbara DaVall and Patsy Pahl for their drawings, and the many others who have had a part in the construction of this book. And then of course to the Advertising Production Service for taking the responsibility of organizing the loose material and in turn presenting us with the finished product-our 1953 Hae Graphae. s Irving Ford .
