CLASS UP 'EU by ROBERT OSTERLUND The class of 1950 has had a colorful four years. Their first social event was when julio Panattoni, president, and the Freshman class went up to Big Pines. After a rousing time in the snow, they met together inside around a glowing fire. The Lord jesus Christ saw their open hearts and moved upon them. It was not long until all had experienc- ed a new freshness in their relationship to the Lord, and one of them was definitely called to serve Him in Africa. When hand uniforms were hein g purchased by the students, the class got hehind its Sophomore president Boh Osterlund and led the parade in the amount contrihuted. The school year drew to a close and they held their prst formal party, the Sophomore-Senior Banquet. The fellows met their girlfriends at the door of the girls' dormitory, and to the fan-fare of car horns and the screams of Freshmen and jun- iors, left for an evening of real fun, plus a challenging message. Harold Martin took the class through its junior year, and again with hanner waving. The hig event of the year was the junior-Senior Break- fast, at which time the Senior Prophecy was read. A duty of the jun- ior class that was exceptionally well performed was supplying flowers for Baccalaureate and Commencement. The large Couriers made of hlue and gold flowers, hanging over the graduating class, was a thrill- ing sight. The Senior class, loohin g forward to their graduation and their future service for the Lord, have chosen to he known as Expendahles . They are united under the guiding hand of Lowell Humphries with the motto: Be thou faithful unto death. And sohered hy the present world unrest, they stand jirm on the promise, And they overcame him hy the hlood of the Lamh, and hy the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death .
